I do not post here much, still trying to get the ropes and find my fit, but anyway, I just need to vent about my little girl.

She is so sick all the time. She has multiple food allergies and is losing weight :(. We are trying to get her to another state for medical care, but it has been nothing short of a losing battle.

In the past 6 days our little girl has been tot he dr THREE times. It is endless. Each time with something new and different going on. She lost 3 oz in that time frame (she is now officially off the growth charts). She is so limited on what she can eat and top that off with a nasty ear infection and we are just struggling to survive here.

I am terrified my DD will end up malnurished because there is so little she can honestly eat. She is not a healthy child, she is not a healthy weight adn I cannot help but think that contributes to it all.

Add icing on the cake, her tube came out of one of her ears so she will likely need a surgery to replace it, but in the mean time we will see the dr every few weeks for repeat EIs I am certain.

This stinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh and she has cough variant asthma.

awwww hunny sorry to hear this I will keep you in my prayers.

I can not relate to the food problems but when my DD was under 5 she was ill all the time and I spent many times at the dr's and hospital with her. It is a very stress full time and I know that it can be so hard.

My thoughts are with you and your little girl sending you some hugs.

Have you all thought about a feeding tube? My daughter has a lot of eating/feeding issues related to cerebral palsy. She got her tube when she was 6. It was a terribly difficult decision, but I am so happy with the results. After the tube was inserted and we started feeding her pediasure, she gained weight (she was only 38lbs when she got it and within a few months shot up to 60 pounds!), her hair, skin, stamina and strength all improved. She can still eat by mouth, but she just isn't able to get everything she needs on most days, so we give her a can a pediasure in her tube before she goes to bed. Also, if she has bowel issues or doesn't drink well when she is sick, we can hydrate her with water.
If she improves her eating, we can take the tube out. Just something to think about it.
Praying for you all!
