I am so happy to be here!
I am a SAHM to three blessing from Heaven above. My oldest boy is going to be 6 this month, my other son is 4, and my daughter just turned 15 months. I have been married to my best friend for over 7 years and we have been together for 11 [couplekiss].
Some things I really enjoy are sewing, scrapbooking and cloth diapering! My current human compassion ministry is working to make 100 cloth diapers to send to Ethiopia! I have 48 completed [cheer]

[welcomesign] I'm happy you found C-moms, you will love it here!
Welcome! So glad you found us! What a neat ministry....are you sending the diapers through a program of some kind?
And I just have to ask...does from the north mean Canada?? lol

I am a close neighbor to Canada! I live in the US....right below Canada.
I have a friend adopting [angelbounce] from Ethiopia in coming months. They are #6 on the wiating list, so when they go to pick up their DD, they are taking items from the orphanage wish list to the other children they are not able to bring home with them. This is just one way I can reach Gods children! After I have completed my 100 diapers for Ethiopia I plan to start making diapers for the Gods Child Project[crossheld]!

Hello [welcomesign] to C'Moms. That is awesome that you are making diapers for babies that need them. God bless you in your endeavor.

WOO-HOO! another sewer.
welcome to the boards, hon. and if you don't mind, can I ask the meaning in your screen-name? from the intro to your daughter, your siggy, and SN, I can assume, but I'm sure you have a testimony behind it? (sorry if I've put you on the spot, just curious)
Welcome again,
Kana

Welcome again,

I love to sew! I am working on costumes for me and my family! I will have to share when I get more done.
My screen name, well I am not a breast cancer survivor, I am just a HUGE supporter. My mother had a breast cancer scare a couple years back, and I just had a good friend dx with breast cancer. My siggy is just my support to those who do struggle with breast cancer and this is the month to show that support!
My SN, well, I become horribly depressed while I was pregnant with my daughter. I had a handful of issues that were popping up in my pregnancy and I was exhausted and wanted to die more then anything. However, my daughter did not deserve to lose her life to my misery. So I kept on trucking, but begging God to take me home. I hated life, but I loved that little person inside me. I did not want to hurt her. We picked our DD name before I came "clean" with my DH about the depth of my depression. He knew, I was in therapy and seeing my dr very regularily...I was on the verge of being hospitalized. When my daughter was just over 6 months old, I made the hardest call of my life, at least to this point. I called my DH sobbing, I told him I loved him and that he better come home and take me to the hosp, but if he did not make it in time the children were safe and I loved them all. I spent some time in the hosp, and to this day I still struggle hard with depression. Sorry you asked yet?
So here I am, just a mom trying to survive the day. On my knees, reading the Word, looking for fellow Christians, praising God for even the not so good things because at least I am here, alive, with my family. I am surviving!
Sorry about the misleading siggy!

Hi Tina, welcome! I love your call-title...that is so true for every Mom I think..."a mom trying to survive!" (the diapers, laundry, cooking, raising of children...surival of the fittest!)
