Abigail started crawling this weekend. She is doing the tummy crawl. She is quite determined to get to stuff. For those of you whose babies did the tummy crawl first, how long did it take them to do a proper crawl after tummy crawling? Just wondering, I don't think it will be long.

Yay for Abigail, that is great! You know with Micah he did the army crawl it seems a good 4-6 weeks ( I think ?) but at the same time he would get up on all 4's and rock back and forward but would never go anywhere! Then all of a sudden one day it was like he plucked up the courage to actually move on all 4's and then the same day he pulled himself up on his feet!!
Now that your dd is moving there will be no stopping, it is a whole new world now for them to explore!! :)

[balloonsgalore] CONGRATULATIONS Abigail!!!
Bri never stopped the army crawl, in a sense. He started knee crawling about a month or two ago, maybe, but still army crawled, and now is walking, but still does both crawling. Just however he feels, I guess.

yeah! it's so amazing to see how they do new things every day.
my ds is 8 1/2 mo and still only army crawls. he started pulling up to standing about 3 weeks ago and now is cruising too. so that's all he does is army crawl and cruise. i don't think he'll ever to a proper crawl on all fours. he'll probably just be walking in another couple of months.
