I have been pregnant now 4 times...including this pregnancy. I lost the first two, but was blessed with our DD last pregnancy. Those last three pregnancies I had pretty much the same symptoms and all were characteristicly the same. This pregnancy though is REALLY different. I have so much peach fuzz growing on my face and body is crazy. I have been breaking out so much, which I never did before, and I just feel different. Now, my friends are all saying it's a boy, that's why it's so different, but I don't know if my first two pregnancies were girls or boys, so I have no idea if a pregnancy with a boy would be different.

Anybody have a story of their pregnancies that were different, really different from one another? What were the sexes of the babies???

Either way I am happy, as long as this baby makes it, but I feel like I have been taken over, and I have never felt that before. I love being pregnant though, so whatever the Lord gives me, I am happy to take it!

Blessings,
Amber

Hey Ashlee... weren't we pregnant at the same time together last year???

How old is your son going to be when your new one is born? Our son will be a year old.

In answer to the post.... The difference between my first and second pregnancies were pretty drastic...

With my daughter my libido was a lot higher. With my son... not even there!
With my daughter I carried high... with my son... pretty low!
With my daughter my appetite was average. With my son I couldn't stop eating!
With my daughter I had HORRIBLE m/s... With my son... not much at all...

So with all that my current pregnancy is the EXACT same as my 1st with my daughter. And we are having a girl! I think there is a difference between the sexes!

This pregnancy has been the strangest, by far for me.

I never had morning sickness until this time. I puked a whole 4 times, but still.

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot with this baby and I am usually a cold natured person even during pregnancy.

All of my symptoms started fairly early when I didn't even feel pg with my other ones until right at the end.

I am very very very very very very very irritable whereas I wasn't with my others (just ask the other people living with me--poor things).

My boobs still hurt at 19 weeks.

I could probably go on...but it's making me tired. Oh, yeah, did I mention I stay tired?

I don't know what this baby is--boy or girl. My first was a girl and my other 2 were boys. They were easy pregnancies compared to this one. Everyone says it's a girl. Except dh and me--we think it's a boy. 8) We'll have to see! Only 21 weeks to go!!!

My pregnancies were very different....times of day of sickness, type of sickness, breakouts, etc...and both are boys! I think it depends on your bodie's hormone levels and stress and everything on how you react each time!

Yes we were.. weren't we? It looks like our boys were born just over a week apart. I am a little further behind you this time, my due date is Febuary 5th. So dd will be 14 months when this one is born. :D

LOL! Was yours unexpected too??? I was shocked to say the least!

Sorry for the hijack!

Thank you for all your responses!! Thank you also for the comment on my baby girl...she is such a blessing to our lives!!

Well, I guess we only have about 8 or so weeks til we can find out the sex of this baby, and I will try and remember to post it so we can see if this is actually a boy!

I hope you all have a great day!

I was totally different with my dd and ds. I felt on top of the World with my ds and walked 2 miles a day until I was 7 months pregnant. I glowed. Now with DD, I felt nauseous if I got the least big hungry and had bad indigestion. My pubic bone hurt with her for the last 3 or 4 months. I carried him low and her high.

It is amazing how things can be so different---my guess is you're having a boy! Let us know and best wishes! Stephanie :D

Both of my pregnancies were different. With dd (baby #1) I had morning sickness 24/7 (don't know why they call it morning sickness should be called all day sickness if you ask me :? ) up to 6-7 months. I was pretty miserable. I also got headaches and at times felt a little disoriented. I also gained weight all over!!! With my ds (baby #2) I only had morning sickness for about 2 weeks and that was it. I craved meat (and i'm not a meat person and with my dd i craved salads and sandwiches). My weight gain was more belly then anything so that was different as well. Also had really bad pelvic bone pain with my ds and i didn't at all with dd. Both pregnancies my belly was high so that was about the only thing that was the same everything else was totally different.

I feel for you women with pelvic pain.....I have always had a weak lower back, and when I got pg with Emma, my lower back was so weak and relaxed that it threw my whole pelvis out of line. I did a lot of physical therapy, which helped a lot. Emma was also really big, so after she was born, it took a good three to four months for me to stop waddling...LOL people at work were kind of snickering at me.....it's funny now, back then I didn't think so! With this pg, I have had serious pubic synthesis pain from about 6 weeks pg. I have been doing my kegals like mad again, holding in my muscles when I walk....but there is just something about pubic pain that gets to you! I'll take it though....maybe it's just a blessing from the Lord to teach me patience and compassion!

Thank you all who has responded so far, it's cool to see how our bodies handle different pregnancies!

I have been pregnant twice now, one with DD one with DS. My pregnancies were very different from each other and very different from what people normally say.

With my son I was huge!!! I had no heartburn, no sickness, no normal pregnancy symptoms at all. He was born on his due date...I pushed for 2 & 1/2 hours before my 8lb. 5 oz. baby boy was born.

With my daughter I was sick, had heartburn, gained very little weight, carried low, I was 2 weeks late, and the labor was great....4 hours start to finish I pushed 3 times!! She was also alot smaller than her brother. 7lbs. 13oz. (2 weeks overdue)!

Hope I helped...
