Good morning y'all,
I know I don't post very often, but I do read everyday. I'm just curious how the other pregnant moms are doing. I look forward to reading your responses!

Y'all,
I've only got 2 weeks left. I'm excited and nervous and just plain emotional. At my last appointment, I was 90% effaced and 3 centimeters. The baby was estimated to be 6.5 pounds. Contractions have been becoming more intense, but they are not coming closer together yet. People are telling me that it could be any day now. The nursery is ready, and the hospital bag is packed. Now, if I only felt ready and confident. A lot of prayers have been lifted up! Hopefully, I can post another belly picture in the next few days (it may be the last one).
I'm curious if any of the natural labor inducers work. Let me know if any of them worked for you. DH and I went out for eggplant last night (he's sooooo excited and will try anything to bring on labor). I've actually had fewer contractions since then. Oh well. She'll be here in God's perfect timing!
I'd appreciate your prayers for a safe, natural delivery. Thanks!

I'm doing well. I haven't had an internal exam, so who knows if things have started. At my last appt the doc did say that babe has started to move down, so who knows. Ds was 10 days late and dd was right on time, so I'm not expecting this one to arrive early. I am having more contractions as well, but nothing that indicates labour is near. That's about it. Glad to hear you are doing well, Megan!

I have a MW appt. this morning.
Lots of baby kicks & getting bigger. (I need to do a new belly pic. it was due yesterday:))
I have been having aches that I "think" might be my kidney. I will mention it to MW. I was in E.R. Sept. 20th (dehydration) so, I may still not be drinking enough fluids. I would be thankful for prayer in this :) I just want baby & I healthy & safe. **Thank You**

I'm not prego but I sure am excited for the next round of C-mom babes  Megan, as far as natural inducers I swear by the exercise ball! I sat and rocked and rolled on that thing the last week of my pregnancy, I think it is what helped me go into labor. My dr said it helps babe to move into the pelvis and the exercise helps get things moving and opening more. That and walking, I probably walked miles lol :) You are right though, in God's perfect timing!

Kim - it sounds like things are going well for you. It sounds like you're getting ready too. Wow - your son was 10 days late?! If you're getting as uncomfortable as me, I sure hope that you give birth sooner rather than later!
Skunkers - I hope that your appointment went well today. I'm sorry to hear about your trip to the E.R. I'll be praying that you'll stay hydrated and healthy. I'm looking forward to your belly pic!
MommyJessy - thanks for the advice! I've got an exercise ball that I haven't used in a long, long time. I need to clean it up and air it up. I can use it in lieu of my office chair (I do all of my work for our business from home now). Before you gave birth earlier this year, I remember you walking a lot. I'll have to make a larger loop when I take the dogs out. I guess having three of them is a good thing - I'll be able to walk the same loop many, many times per day!

Thank you for prayers.
The nurse told me that where I have the twinges of aches is not in kidney area & that it is more likely muscle related. (Good news :)) I still have to keep up the fluid intake. I go back in 2 weeks.
they want to induce me 2 weeks early :( :( I do not want to..so I have a lot to think about. I would love prayers for wisdom in this situation
for getting labor to start
squats (much like using the ball)

My MW office just called & said she decided to have another u/s because they need to check the position of my placenta. last time it was 1cm from the cervix. Gosh....first I've heard of this & my last u/s was Aug. 3rd!!!!
Sigh...one more thing I ask prayer for please.

Things are going okay I guess. I'm still beyond uncomfortable and in quite a bit of pain a lot of the time...but we're "getting" there. I have my next appointment on Oct. 9th....we get to have another ultrasound and figure out if we're having a girl for sure or not. I'm looking forward to it. I'm at the point right now where I'm wishing for December to come as soon as possible...*sigh* Oh well...we'll be done before I know it and the baby will be here! :)

I'm 18 weeks, 5 days. This pregnancy is frankly a breeze compared to my 1st pregnancy and I'm enjoying the break from the constant trouble the first time around.
At the rate that the world is falling apart, I'm thinking that maybe DH will deliver the baby as we're running to the woods, lol. I know that the signs are showing that Jesus is coming soon, just have to have faith that He'll take care of us. :)
My DD (25 months) is still nursing about 4x a day, so I fully expect to tandem if she keeps it up. My milk supply has dwindled to practically nothing but she seems happy with whatever--she's still pretty enthusiastic.

I'm 39 1/2 weeks now, so it could be any day! I was dilated to 4 cm at 36 weeks, so my grandma has been here since then waiting for the baby to come (she's going to take care of our 18-month-old while I'm in the hospital). And he's definitely been making us wait! I've been 6 cm since 38 weeks and he's still not showing signs of budging. I've been having contractions of course, but nothing too regular or frequent. I have another dr appointment on Friday and then my doctor wants to induce next Tuesday. I *really* don't want to induce and will probably try to back out of it if I get that far, but I'm hoping he comes in the next few days so that it's not even an issue!
There you are love2bmommy! I knew there was someone due before Megan and myself! I hope things get moving for you really soon! :D Let us know!

I had no idea that you could be 6 centimeters and not be in active labor! I'll be praying that your little one decides to make his appearance before the doctor pushes induction (I'm trying to avoid it at all costs too).

Did your doctor say why he wants to induce at 40 1/2 weeks?
I hope that the baby comes soon too! :) But just to encourage you, you're well within your rights to refuse induction if your doctor tries to push it--providing that you and baby are both healthy of course. Full term is 37-42 weeks, somebody has to go on the longer end to make the average 40 weeks, lol!
My daughter is almost a 42 weeker (41 weeks, 5 days) and she was perfectly healthy with no signs of being post-mature. I think that many doctors want the baby to be born by 41 weeks, but that's unwarranted most of the time, unless there's some health concern like high blood pressure or pre-ecclampsia.

Hi all! Haven't been posting much, don't have internet at home currently.
We had our followup today on our 20 week ultrasound. Apparently baby has a two vessel umbilical cord instead of a three vessel. They were not able to get a good view of the spine or the outflow tracts on the ultrasound either.
So, we are going to Spokane on Tuesday for a Level 2 ultrasound.
Just really learning to trust the Lord in all this and He has given me a lot of peace. I don't know what will happen but just that He is in control and He is good.
So, any prayers are appreciated. I can already see the Lord using this to soften my heart as I have really struggled in the last couple of years in my faith. So, it is a blessing, and hopefully He is simply using it to prepare our hearts to trust Him in raising this precious baby of His!!

I am 9 weeks, due in May. As I sit here reading all of you mommies that are so much further along than me I am so jealous. I am feeling super crummy, so tired I can barely function, gas so bad I can barely move, not puking but feeling like I want to all the time and now am getting a cold on top of it.
This is my last baby, and I know I want to be enjoying every second of this, knowing that I will never experience it again, but feeling so rotten makes it really hard to enjoy this time. I am looking forward to my 2nd trimester so I can get over the morning sickness stage.
Hang in there you mommies that are waiting for the baby to come. I definately agree that you do not have to be induced. If there is something wrong and it is getting important to have the baby, you may want to, but otherwise maybe God knows best when the babies are supposed to come...

So I think I am the newest of the group. 4 weeks as of tomorrow. I am doing pretty good. I am not nauses, however super tired all the time and am having to take a nap a day now. I am also super moody which I hate. Other then that I wouln't even know I was preggo. I am just trusting in God with His timing in this. Praying for all of you other mamas. One in Christ, I will be praying for you and your little one. God has all things planned and this baby's health is part of that. Just keep trusting in Him. I am sure you are stressing out, I know I would. I will be praying for peace in all of this.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately... been very busy with not much time for the internet.
I'm 38 weeks and 1 day today. I had an appt this afternoon and the dr said the baby has dropped and his/her head is engaged in the pelvis so now we just need the dilating to start. I've had a lot of pressure the last two days. (Which he says is from the head dropping)
I really want the baby to come this week. I'm so 'done'. I know you other ladies that are so far along know what I'm feeling. I took my dd to her due date and this time I'd like to be one of those 'early' ones. I'm so impatient!
Please pray with me for God's perfect timing and patience for me. I'm praying for you!
I completely understand, cabingirl! I am feeling "done" as well. But you are right...all in God's timing! Praying for you!

:P I'm about ready to be done with this pregnancy and I'm only 31 weeks! This pregnancy is a whole different story compared to when I was pregnant with Maddy....and I feel guilty to say it, but I'm not exactly enjoying this...but, baby will be here soon enough!! I'll wait until baby's ready to come...just wish that December would get here faster!

Don't feel guilty Chels... (((hugs))). It's enjoying the baby thats important. I didn't enjoy my first couple months or my last couple months of being pregnant, or really any of the months in between. Being huge and stretch marky is no picnic. Just enjoy your sweet baby when the time comes, thats whats important. [loveyou]
