Update after doc appt. with NEW doc!

I can't tell you how good it feels to be seeing a doctor that I am comfortable with! PTL! :D

Everything went well. My weight is fine, blood pressure is fine. Baby is head down and his/her heart rate is good. Doc said that the head is starting to move down, but not much. Overall, everything is great!

Interesting though, that he is the first doc to change my due date based on the one ultrasound I had in May. So now, according to him, babe is due on Oct 12 - which of course here in Canada is Thanksgiving! Eek! It could be an interesting Thanksgiving this year! :D Good thing that dh is not scheduled to preach that weekend (it happens to be the one Sunday a month he has off! - for preaching anyway!)...I have a feeling he might not have been around to do so even if he was! lol.

That's great! I swapped docs mid way through my last preg. because I needed to deliver at a different hospital and I remember how anxious it made me. I'm glad it worked out well and that you and babe are healthy. It won't be long now!

Kim,

I guess that means that the race is on now between you and me. Your new due date puts you ahead of me by two days. At my last doctor's visit, I was 90% effaced and 3 centimeters dilated. I've got people guessing that I'll go into labor sooner rather than later. And DH is so ready and excited that he insisted that we go out for dinner tonight and eat nothing but eggplant (he just heard about the old wives tale about eggplant causing a woman to go into labor). We got enough so I can eat leftovers tomorrow. If I go into labor, I don't think it'll be due to the eggplant. It's okay, though. We got to go out for a nice dinner!

I'm glad that you've found another doctor. I'll be praying for you!
