Hi, i want to ask if anybody has has similar problems. Our little one just turned 1 last month, and she has been a really good baby. She has had nap issues and displayed a temper when she's frustrated, but really has been great overall. A couple of weeks ago, we had her shots, which included MMR, which she had a reaction to (rash, fever) for 2 or 3 days. Pitiful baby. Thankfully, her fever is gone too. She has had a little cold or something, too, since before the rash, but not bad, not pulling her ears a bunch. She's been teething for a while, but had done ok with the other teeth. On top of this I am trying to wean her. She has been a different child , especially today. Crying, clingy, out of character. I finally gave her a bottle with a little milk at supper, but she didn't give me a strong impression that that was "exactly what she wanted". Our first weaned easily, but I took longer with her .How long did you bottle feeders take to wean? Did they kind of forget in a week or so? Does this sound like just a mix of all this stuff or like weaning? Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Hollie

It could be any or all of what you described. Molars are so painful!

And this is the age they learn that there is a big, wide world out there..not just them and you. And they get some seperation issues around this time. Around this age my kids would prefer my DH for a few wks and then once you have that worked out...they switched to me!

Of course, if you think that something is not right with your child, ALWAYS follow your instincts. I found Drs would call me over-reactive, till it turned out I was right all along.

My thoughts are that babies flip out with even the slightest of schedule change or change in the environment. It is probably a combination of being a little sick, teething and being weaned. Once she starts feeling better and is used to the bottle, maybe she'll be back to her old self. [OK] My son is a year old and he has been more fussy lately too..missing sleep..etc. I got him down and really examined his mouth this weekend. It turns out he is cutting a molar. Ouch! Poor babe. :( Hang in there!! Your little one will be better soon. :)
