Weaning and pregnancy poll

For ds and I it was mutual. I was ready, and all he did was bite me and think it was funny. When I didn't let him nurse again after biting, he didn't care. After about 3 or 4 sessions like this, I figured he was done. :D Oh, and I was 5mths preggers at the time.

During my first trimester, my oldest just lost interest - he nursed less and less and then finally not at all. I was a little sad but happy that it was a decision he made all on his own. He was also older, just a little over 2 yrs old.
My baby is 16 mos now and still nursing, we will see what happens when I get pg with baby #3 :mrgreen:

I nursed Brooke until she was 18 months and I weaned her by choice.. she was my hardest to wean but it worked out good in the end.
With Lawson I wanted to nurse longer but my milk supply dried up when I was about 4 months pregnant. He wasn't ready to quit nursing either but also wasn't very hard to wean. I wish soo badly now that I had tried harder to get my milk back. I just got irritated and gave up way too quickly. :(
I weaned Gabriella by choice at 1 year. i was just barely pregnant. Once again I had regrets about weaning so early.
I will be thrilled if I make it to 18 months with this next baby.. thats my goal anyway. But I'm also planning on using nfp to not get pregnant again so quickly.:)

Eldest was weaned before I got pg with #2.
#2 nursed for another couple of months after I found out I was pg w/#3 ... mutual, he was showing signs, weaning off, I encouraged it..I was pg sick and not enjoying having him on me :p
I can't even remember the others LOL
Seriously, I am drawing a total blank now that I tryo to say something about it LOL boy that's irritating...stoopid mommy brain :p
