She was suppose to come out Tuesday but got tied up at a birth so we rescheduled for today at 1. Everything went well. She estimates that I'm approx. 37 weeks going by my fundal height measurement and the size of the baby. She estimated the baby as being approx. 6.5lbs. Going from the notes she took last time I saw her everything is right on track. She measured me to be 3cm under at 33 weeks, so things are adding up. I've gained enough weight, ect. The baby obviously still has ample room to move around because when she did the measurement the first time and felt around the baby was lying along my left side then later during the appointment I laid back down for her to show dh how to feel for the top of the uterus and the baby had moved to my right side. She said the baby was NOT posterior but even if it was it still has room to move around. That makes me feel so much better. We also got to meet her two interns.. they were both very nice. Although I'm not too thrilled about having so many people at my birth. No biggy though. Anyway its looking like I could have an October baby! Sorry for getting you all excited so soon. :P I'll keep you all updated. The midwife is going to come weekly until the baby is born so I will have another update next Thursday! Thanks for the prayers and support ladies.[loveyou] all!

Well your not late then I guess. Still I would feel disappointed if I thought I'd already gone through 40 weeks to find I was really only at 37. (((hugs)))
Ooh...more October babies! Glad things went so well with this midwife!

glad to hear things went well
try not to fret the extras at the birth
have you talked to her about 'hands off' and how much involvement you would really like? that might help a bit w/those interns...helping them to fade into the background

That's good news all around I would say Ash, I know the extra weeks you kind of figured in there anyway. You are almost there either way. Sometimes a little extra time with some littles around is nice, than you want it over with sometimes too. I know with each I felt totally different.
I am glad all is well with baby, that is main concern always. Do you have an inkling about what the baby may be boy/girl? Also to be pesty can you set me straight on the ages of your 3 at home? Just curious that's all. If you dont' want it to be here could you pm me that info. I like keeping all the mommies straight here. Thanks
hugs and prayes sweetie!

If I was forced to guess Renee, I would say girl. I really don't have a feeling or inkling though.. just leaning slightly more towards girl then boy. I'm quite content with either, although I do sometimes hope more for a boy. It would be so wonderful for Lawson to have a brother.
To answer your other question.. Brooke just turned 5, Lawson will be 3 in December, and Gabriella is 18 months. They are pretty close together. I will be busy I'm sure! It's all worth it thought, right?

Thanks Ash! And an answer to your question, YES IT IS WORTH IT, don't question your miracles and their spacing, God knows what he is doing, even when we aren't quite sure He does. I think that's great! If you ever get too frazzled, or feel a tad crazy post and we'll talk you through it sweetie. There is always someone here to lend a cyber shoulder.
You will do great, sure we allllllll, trust me all have our tough times, together, with family and friends if you have them, with God we make it through.
Hugs

Oh, Ash, I'm glad for you! It's much better to have an accurate date so that you don't get pressure about induction and the like.
Glad that the appointment went well.
