Hi everyone, I haven't posted for awhile b/c I couldn't remember my password!!

I finally got it reset so here I am, though I have been reading the threads, just not posting.

Anyway, we are doing well here, nineteen weeks now and we have our big ultrasound on the 16th, though we are not finding out the sex. DH is really excited about letting it be a surprise!

Well, i was just wondering if you all could lift us up in prayer. Yesterday we had to drive to the coast to visit DH's uncle who we just found out is dying of liver failure. Its so progressed that he didn't really know we were there.

While visiting with the rest of the family, DH got a call from his primary job(he's been working six days a week, two jobs) and found out he was getting laid off. Now, this is a company where he is the only non Mormon employee and he is known to be a Christian. He also shared the True Gospel with the one other non mormon employee after they tried to convert him to mormonism. So, we are sure they are unhappy about that, but praise the Lord the DH is not ashamed to stand for the Truth! I am so proud of him that he represented Jesus to that confused young man.

We arrived home this morning and DH went to work at his second job and found out the they were cutting his hours back from 32 to 24 a week.

We know that God is in control and He must have a better plan, but are just coveting any prayers that we can have lifted for us. We just want to seek His will and we knew that the current set up was not ideal anyway (Dh has to work every Sunday) so, PTL he now has Sundays off!!

Thanks for all of your prayers!!

~Laura~

Sounds like it may be your typical persecution for Christ. Your hubby did the right thing and you both will be blessed for it!
But I know it can be stressful not knowing what is ahead, so I pray that the Lord give you peace soon.

Welcome back and congratulations on your little one. DH & I did NOT find out what we were having and we never regretted that! It was SO exciting for us and all of our family and friends to all find out together!

Thanks for your prayer and encouragement!
The morning sickness is MUCH better, just a lot of indigestion and heartburn now!!! But I will take that any day over nausea.

I appreciate all your words of encouragement in this. We are seeking the Lord in this and though financially it may be a rough patch this may be a huge blessing for DH to transition and get a strong career path going.

So, its a season of hope!!
