I was outside tring to make tiedyed cross tshirts for my family (fior when we go on field trips) and the other kids were "watching" the baby. Well I walk in with dye on my hands and see DS making a bright red beard on himself!!! Normally (he does tatoos himself fairly regularly) I just off as much as I can and the rest just fades off over the next day or so but my daughter has to go to the fair for Fairest of the Fair practice tonight and I have to take him with me. His face still has a red tint to it. Any ideas on how to get the rest off?

heehee um, I'm not sure
I think I'd just do the best I could then let it be. Have a laugh about it with the other parents :p
Peroxide might 'bleach' it out a bit, but I don't know if you'd want to really swab a bunch of that on his face. kwim? Not terrible, as far as I know, I just don't know that you'd want to do that.

try some mascara remover if you have some...sometimes it helps waterproof/permanent stuff fade off of skin....

Thanks Ladies,

It was pretty funny, except for the timing of it! My husband asked why I was is a bad mood when he came home for lunch, I told him his son looked like a reversed santa claus! He had a red beard, red hands, and red arms.... so I guess you could say I caught him red handed. Bad joke I know but better to laugh than to cry right?

teehee yep, better to laugh than cry
like when I only had the first two...Eldest had poured a small (thankfully) bottle of baby lotion on top of Yo. It was actually that creamy oil stuff. The whole thing. Dumped on top of the 4 month old's head. Dripping down between his eyes. Dripping down to his hands. Yo just sat there totally intrigued with this dripping substance. Smiling. I guess, thankfully, it was mostly on the child and not on the carpet :p

We've had marker beards, also, but I think they were blue.

LOL, suppose you could always put concealer on top of it! lol

Sorry you had to go through all that. 'tis hard sometimes!

Perhaps try baby oil or even olive oil and then wash that off, it's what I use to remove waterproof eye makeup so maybe...
