We have a heartbeat!!

I had my first prenatal appointment today. We heard the heartbeat--aww, what a sweet sound. 166 BPM! My midwife says that everything looks great. I'm now just a little over 13 weeks and so happy that the first trimester is almost done. :D

The thought brings tears to my eyes. I remember the relief and joy I felt at the same time. Congrats to the whole family! Hannah...a big sister...too sweet!

That's great Ruth!!! I remember what an exciting sound that was. I was also thinking 'girl' immediately when I read the 166bpm info. My girls always ran in the high 150's and up. Not sure how scientific that is, but anywho.

Hearing your unborn childs heartbeat for the first time has to be one of the best sounds in the world! That is great Ruth :-D
