We're blessed to have a great theater company locally that offers a homeschool production each year. This year it's the Wizard of Oz. Auditions were held this week and my 10yo dd got the call today that she made it! She is absolutely thrilled, she was several years younger than several of the girls who tried out. The director told her she was clearly the best prepared and read perfectly for the role of Auntie Em! The production isn't until June, but twice monthly rehersals begin next week. Our 6yo plans to audition for a role in the Munchkin chorus but those won't be held until closer to the play in the spring.

What I was most proud of was how kind and gracious she was when speaking with a friend today who didn't get a part.

Just had to share our excitement!

How cool to have a program available like that! Awww looking forward to pics this upcoming spring. What a precious little girl you and your hubby are raising so humble and loving to everyone, esp the friend not getting the part. That must have made you proud!
