Hi, everybody. This is Kevin, Beck's husband. She wanted me to log on and ask you all to pray.

Madison Grace was born at 9:42 this morning, weighing in at 9-11. Unfortunately, she is now in the ICU, where she will remain for at least another 24 hours. Her O2, BP and Glucose were all dangerously low once she finally came out.

She's not improving, but she's not getting any worse. They think it's just a matter of having too much liquid remaining on her lungs, and they're hopefull that she'll start to improve noticeably sometime tomorrow.

Obviously, we're very concerned and heartbroken that we haven't yet been able to hold our baby girl. Please pray for peace for Beck and I, as well as a quick recovery for Maddie.

We took Riley in to see her and she patted her baby sister's back and whispered "beebee." So, she already loves her sissy.

Beck is doing fine. Very tired, but she's strong. I'm sure she'll have me update you all daily.

Quick update for everybody.

Maddie is out of the NICU after making a "surprisingly fast recovery" as one nurse told me. Everything is fine at this point. So fine, that mom and baby will likely be coming home this afternoon.

So, I'd better go clean the house up.

Thank you all so much for the prayers!! It was pretty scary. I think it was scarier for Kevin simply because he saw everything happen whereas I only heard about it (and the news was delivered very delicately so as to not make me worry). But as Kevin already said, Madison was out of NICU in 24 hours and she's doing great!
