Midwife appointment.

I have a midwife appointment at noon tomorrow. I would really appreciate any prayers. I think the baby is posterior.. which isn't the end of the world but I'm really praying baby shifts into a better position for labor. Also this will be my first time meeting with this midwife (she is to be the back-up in case my reg. midwife isn't in town before I go into labor). I have mixed feelings about her from our conversations via phone. At first she seemed great but the last conversation I had with her was dissapointing.. sounds like her and my reg. midwife have issues with each other and she seemed to be taking that out on me.. not very professional.:???: So yeah.. could use some prayers. Oh and another thing is we have to take all the kids with us.. we had planned on leaving them home with my sil but she won't be available and finding someone else this short of notice isnt going to happen. So could you all say a prayer that everyone behaves and things go smoothly. Thanks a bunch ladies! Will update as soon as I get back.[loveyou] all!

The shape of my belly.. there is a dip just above my belly button. Never remember having that with any of my others and they were all anterior. When I mentioned it to my midwife she said thats probably what it is.

Now that the kiddos (well the two youngest) are asleep I can give you ladies the details! :D

Actually there really isn't much to report.. we got to chat with the "backup" midwife for over an hour and a half. It was nice to get to know a little about her. She has an amazing testimony that I might share later.. its rather long and my 4 year old is talking my ear off right now.. not to mention I'm am really tired.. so anyway, it's hard to think. She measured my fundal height and I measured 31 cm.. a little under for 33 weeks but as we all know that doesn't necessarily mean I am only 31 weeks.. it could simply be babies position or a number of nothings. We listened to babies heart beat and it was good and strong. I pee'd on a stick and all was good there. :P She also felt my tummy of course.:) She didn't say whether or not the baby was posterior or anterior or anything but she did show me where the placenta was and how the baby was lying.. babys head is down kind of off to the left side. Placenta is in a good spot so all is well there.
Thats all I can think of right now. Dh and I are happy with the way everything went. I will see her again in two weeks and I will see my reg midwife sometime before then also so I will update you all then. Thanks again for praying for us ladies! [loveyou]

glad to hear the meeting went well..the 'aside from baby monitoring' meeting part..that you had a good conversation with the mw *whew* made that difficult didn't I? LOL
