I think she was having her c-section on Monday, so I was just wondering if anybody has had any contact. I guess it will probably be a few more days! I hope everything went well :)

I am not sure how long the stay is after having a c-section but I'm guessing it's at least 4 days. It used to be 10

She had her baby girl on Monday. She is absolutely gorgeous and most importantly, healthy!! :D I'll let her do the honors of posting pics, though.

Thanks for the update, Beck! :D Looking forward to seeing pics. If you talk to her before she gets back, tell her we're all excited and happy for her.

I had four C's and here in the U.S you only get three days in the hospital. I always wanted to stay longer cuz it was so fun and was very romantic for Justin and me. [coupleofspuds] With my last baby, Chloe, I asked if I could please stay longer, especially cuz I never had help and had three little ones to take care of along with the new baby, but I got a big ol "no!"

Just a quickie...

I am asking Renee if she wouldn't mind posting a pic for me  (Not set up to do that...).

Everything went quite well, but boy were we lucky we didn't go for a VBAC as there were complications with the scar that they couldn't detect via US and exam - Dr Greenland cut the original scar out and made a new one for me :D

DH and I arrived at the hospital at 8am but had to wait until 15.30 to go to theatre. I had a long discussion with the anethatist as to whether or not I would choose a one shot or an epidural, in the end he convinced me the epidural was better because the one shot was what made me puke last time.

They kicked DH out while I was being prepped which was a little disappointing, but the midwife and nurse were holding my hands (poor midwife, I was squeezing her arm LOL).

I really don't remember the caesarian at all (no I didn't pass out). I only remember seeing Matilda Sienna on the exam cot and hearing her squark, then DH spoke to her and she stopped crying and looked at him. Then they brought her over to me, and she was having a cry again, but stopped the moment I talked to her.

It took quite a while to stitch me up because of the mess from last caesarian scar - they took Matilda up to the nursery along with DH to check her over again and then I went to recovery for 20mins before being reunited with her.

Paris and Jackson came in with my parents and they were excited about their sister.

She was born at 16.00 on Monday, 6.9 pounds - she's TINY! Her head is so small. I spent my four days in hospital enjoying her and bonding with her. Shes a tiny pickle.

I only got home yesterday - so don't really have time for big posts etc.
DH is home for the next 3 weeks, so I am not sure how much I will be on.

She is a good baby - when she's hungry her way of "demanding" is to begin wriggling about and opening her mouth LOL LOL. She is quite a trusting kind of a bub. We nicknamed her button.

DH has moved the cot into our bedroom because I am concerned about the kids going in to her room and getting in the cot and trying to pick her up.

We are all doing great!
