View Full Version : A different kind of nesting

The urge to nest has finally struck me, but I'm not cleaning and organizing my house. Since I no longer work, I keep it neat and clean.

Instead, I'm out in my backyard with gloves and a shovel, redoing the (pathetic--the previous owners did nothing to maintain it) landscaping! (With DH's help, of course. I can't tear out a holly bush by myself  .) It's harder work than I'm used to, but I feel absolutely compelled to do it. I have this irrational sense that it must be done b4 Baby arrives, or it'll never get done. I probably would have started 2 or 3 weeks ago, but it was so hot! Thank God for autumn! :D

Anyone else ever found their nesting urge leading them outdoors? :)

This time around I did. I washed all the windows from the outside of the house even though we live in the desert and have no landscape in the backyard, so it was bound to get dirty again soon.
