It's been on and off and mainly sitting on her potty, not really doing much on it, but this morning, I stripped her diaper off and let her go without for a few minutes.... I saw her over on the couch saying, "Push!" I took one glance, sized up the evidence that had already showed up, and ran her to the potty. She completed her poop in the potty and probably got more in the potty than outside the potty! I praised her and made a big deal out of it and went and got her a healthy treat.
So where should I go from here? Should I look into undies? Cloth trainers with plastic covers? Should I let her run naked? She's 23 months by the way.

Way to go Hannah! Mandy was 2 and potty trained successfully day and night. I let her pick out a bunch of girlie cute underwear at the store, 10 prior to her actual training.
Training was all Mandy's doing, though I had asked her many times prior to potty train. She saw a certain potty topper at one store and came home asked me to put it on the potty, she stripped off her diaper and that was that. After my four boys I was hesitant to throw out the diapers so I hid them in a cabinet for a while but she was literally trained over night to my shock. Use Hannah's cues and go with them. If she decides now isn't the time just go with the flow. Each child is so different. My others were not so easy so I just accepted that little blessing.
Good luck Ruth.
Yay Hannah! Our potty training brakes are on. Abby's gone back to saying "No potty". Hmmm....maybe I should just put her in undies and see what happens.
Personally, with both my kids I found it more successful to go straight to undies. We used a few pullups/cloth trainers from time to time when we went out, but I found those were not very helpful in the process. (If you want to go that route, make sure they are the kind where she will feel the wetness.) I have heard of some kids who train better naked, but it didn't work for us. I just made sure we had a solid week to stay home because it is easier to stay on top of things that way. There are always more accidents when you go out. Good luck! :D
