..we had our "big" ultrasound and I was soooo excited to be able to see the baby! Everything looked great, was measuring well...however, our tech was awful! My ultrasound was so uncomfortable, she didn't say what was what so half the time Bill didn't know what he was looking at. The baby was in such a position that we didn't get a forward view of it's face, nor were we able to tell the gender. I understand that babies aren't always in the perfect position for the ultrasound...but the tech was awful! I should NOT have been in pain when she was preforming it...I'm really disappointed...but I'm trying not to be because it was great to be able to see the baby and to feel it moving as I saw it! I'm feeling the baby move contantly now...so that's good too! Here are our not so great ultrasound pictures....

I'm so sorry. Medical appointments and procedures are often so rushed. I can see the baby in the pictures you posted and he or she is so precious. When I had my ultrasounds back in 95 and 98 they weren't near as clear as yours. I couldn't tell what I was looking at with mine. Glad the baby is doing well!

The baby looks beautiful! I can clearly see the profile of the face in both pictures. I hate it when techs are too rough, sorry that it wasn't as fun as it could have been. Praise God the baby is healthy and developing well - that is no small thing!

I've had a rough tech before too, and it is no fun. I am sorry you had to experience that. But you are right - focus on the good part! Seeing the baby for the first time and watching him/her move is always amazing! What a gift that is! :D

I remember with my first ultrasound coming out and being very disappointed too! I also remember it hurting as well and the picture I got was terrible!!
It is wonderful though to hear you have a healthy baby growing inside and you can actually see their little body very well! How special :)
