I can't express in words how THANKFUL! I am for the wonderful surprise I had on Saturday! I knew the ladies from church were planning on a baby shower for me.... :D (sorry.... I know they wanted that to be a surprise too but I guess it was easy to figure it out :P LOL!!!) ... But anyways... I was so SURPRISED when I got there for ALL THE THINGS THEY DID!!! I can't believe it!!! Since I arrived to Milwaukee (1 year and 4 months ago) they have made me feel so welcome and loved! It's amazing! God really takes care of His children... even my family is so far away from me... He's made sure there are wonderful people around me who show me love!....
I am really blessed!
So... They wanted to throw a "very Mexican party" for me... he he he.... Baby showers in Mexico aren't like this... there are no pinatas and the decoration is not like this at all.... the food is very simple (and there are no tortillas involved) ha ha ha... BUT... what they did... was like a MEXICAN HOLIDAY PARTY! ... So I would feel like I was back home!
I was shocked when I saw all the effort they put to it...
They even made what I call "Christian" Margaritas (he he he... no alcohol of course) ....
Everything was done in the basement of the church we attend... see it for yourself...

AND BESIDES ALL THIS!!!
My DH surprised me with a "Mexican Dance" ... I couldn't believe it when I saw him there doing all that for me (he says that when I was sleeping in the nights he would practice!!! aaaaaaawwww! I love him saw much)... that almost made me cry in the Baby shower....
You can see the video of the "dance" here...

I hope I didn't bore you with all this... But I am just so thankful and happy that I wanted to share.
Thanks!
Paloma.
