Hello I am pretty new here my husband & I are looking for some good Christian resources books with a Christian perspective to talk to our daughter about sex.

We have a book called Staying in the Castle but this just talks about waiting for the one God has for you it doesn't explain what are you abstaining from KWIM?

Last I knew of what my daughter believes is about a year ago when I asked how I got pregnant with her older brother she said because I lived with his dad and stood by him to much LOL. I was like OK lets just leave it at that for NOW!

Lately she has been absorbed with those Jonas Brothers, which her father and I do not approve of got a magazine and put of posters of them when i saw it I told her they had to come down, she wants posters of them up on her walls we told her no boys but she doesn't understand why? it is time to tell her why?

If you have any advice, resources, sites, books you could recommend I would greatly appreciate it.

You know I am dreading this conversation RIGHT!
Thanks
Rabecca

We got our daughter (who is 12) The Body Book by Nancy Rue. You can find in online or at Lifeway bookstores. It's written from a Christian perspective, but it's colorful and current enough your daughter will think it's cool. My daughter was very interested in reading it.
I'm totally shy about talking about this subjects with my girls, but my desire for them to have good information about God's plan for them and for this subject has made me have to get over my shyness.

Nancy Rue has a whole series of books for tweens that I reccomend.
