..to get my 2 yo dd down for a nap by 11 am. You know, if I have any intentions of keeping my sanity and my cool. Lest I blow my top, that child MUST take a morning nap now. Oh.My.Goodness!! She can get quite unbearable.

Ok, that's all

I posted this today because I had forgotten LOL
she's just in this "phase" now I guess, needing to go to 2 naps At least getting an early nap 2 or 3 times a week Well, evidently we neglected it too much this week as she was just off the hook here Wound up, not listening to anything anyone said. Other than to know what to argue with her brother...which she did...a lot! And whiney Ugh!

She'll go down after lunch I do believe. I don't foresee her making it to our usual 3-ish quiet time.

I hear ya on the messed up naps. I would give anything to get my DD to take a nap, but I guess she just outgrew it?? She stopped around her third birthday and now she doesn't seem to need one. :? DS on the other hand just turned one and now he is going from two naps to one. Now to figure out when exactly he wants to go down. He fights his am nap and usually passes out before the (before-scheduled) afternoon nap. So I guess I will try to keep his nap after lunchtime.

Grant is down to one nap a day too. I start at 12 and it can take him up to an hour to go down, but if I skip it, Watch Out!! He is a grump!!!

Why is it that they become so impossible when tired? Even DD and DS who are almost 4 get like this!

Yesterday we left the nap out and they were impossible!

With DD everything was "I don;t want to"
and with DS everything was whining or run off in a sulk.

Needless to say they are asleep right now (mummy need her sanity)
