I need to make bubbles if I can. I'd rather not have to take everyone through the toy section after I drive for 20 minutes just to buy a $1-$2 product. IYKWIM.......but we need more bubbles!! Kids looooove the bubbles

sorry to respond without exacts here....but....i know all it is is water, dish soap, and liquid glycerine (sp?)....let me go look it up...and i'll post again...

Here is the recipe I use....I like it better than store bought bubbles any day.....

Mix together 1/4 cup of liquid detergen, 1/2 cup of water, a few drops of food coloring (optional), and 1 tsp of sugar.

Hint: Let bubble solution age for a few days to make bubble blowing easier.

I have had great success with this recipe using Joy and Palmolive.....not so much success with Dawn......I also don't usually wait a couple of days to use the solution either and it works very well.....Enjoy blowing bubbles....

I've tried the dish liquid, water mixtures but they never give enough elasticity for the bubbles. Then I learned the secert - you have to add corn syrup!
