BEAUTIFUL birth story! Thanks for sharing. God is so good!

Yeah, the ant. lip thing... Tara, the midwife explained it to me that a "lip" of the cervix gets "stuck" between the baby's head and the pubic bone... basically what you just said... I got the mental picture during labor and it helped me understand what was going on better. I got a little freaked when she said I had the anterior lip... I had always heard the term but never knew exactly what it was.

I had a lip with Abby and the midwife tried to stretch it out but no luck. Anyway, praise the Lord for a wonderful birth Jen! So glad you got the birth you wanted!
