My dd is now 18 months old, and she has taken great interest in sitting at the table. We have tried doing this for snacks but still use the high chair for meals. Should we just use a booster seat from now on and do away with the high chair?

I would try her in it. I think mine were around that age when they started using one. Stephanie :D

We ended up using a booster seat at about 10 months old because the high chair took up half of the kitchen...and because I got sick of scraping dried-up mystery food from under the cushions  . I think as long as she sits well it should be fine.

I agree with Cristina. As long as she is sitting well she should be fine. We invested in those travel ones so we could use it at home AND when we were out (great!!!)

Best wishes that all goes well! ~Kerri

Hey...if it works, and works better for you, go for it. :)
