Any other ideas? ~Tara~ 07-03-2008, 04:27 PM According to this: http://www.vegsource.com/talk/breastfeed/messages/10874.html fenugreek is a no while pg Here's another forum's archived discussion on the matter: http://www.mothering.com/discussions/archive/index.php/t-558020.html HTH buttercup_97140 07-04-2008, 04:21 AM I also heard that fenugreek was a no-no while pg. I think mother's milk tea is a no also. You can take Nettle and alfalfa for sure while pg. Those are a few galatagogues that can work. You can look on kellymom and see what they say about increasing it while pg. It's kind of an uphill race against hormones while pg. Most women lose their milk, but some are blessed enough to keep a supply while pg. My supply always increased A LOT for a month or so into pg, then dropped off like mad after that. I pretty much only had small drops of colostrum for Em while I was pg, but she said it was enough, and the physical bond of nursing was still there. I can say how awesome it was when my milk came back after Noah. My milk came in right around the time Noah died (I think my body reacted to finally being able to hold him) and so we went back to my room so I could nurse her before we did all the final stuff for Noah, and she latched on, and her eyes got SO HUGE! She was like...Mama!!!! It was so sweet!! She actually gave up eating most solids for a few weeks after my milk came in...she even started getting newborn poop again! haahaa!!! Nursing is so wonderful and sweet! I am excited to nurse again!! Blessings, Amber Ashlee 07-04-2008, 10:32 AM Aww Amber.. thas so sweet! I really wish I had of toughed things out when I dried up.
