I reintroduced a bit of bananas to my daughter after months of not letting her have any. Normally she breaks out in a vicious rash in under 12 hours of consuming them. These last few times of eating bananas, she's been fine. Looks like I can cross banana intolerance off my worry list. PTL!

Hey Ruth -- not trying to be like, a wet blanket... but just FYI, i've had banana allergy all my life and would break out in hives. last year i tried one and nothing happened so i thought i outgrew the allergy - but then later that week i had 2 more, well when I ate the 3rd one, hives broke out in the back of my throat... so i would just be careful because she may have *more* of a tolerance than she did before but can still go on "overload"... which is why they always recommend going to an allergist instead of experimenting yourself to be on the safe side so you can know for sure... LOL Sorry to be all negative, just thought you should know that's a possibility so nothing bad happens.

ruth- just a quick question- point of thought- is it banana or the preservatives/pesticides on it? I know you're all crunchy and stuff- but if you're giving non-organic bananas to Hannah, it might be the preservatives.
I just mentioned it because I too, thought I was allergic to bananas and carrots- but found out that the organic/pesticide/preservative free ones where ok.
Anyways- I'm glad she seems ok now.
