View Full Version : I LOVE nausea! BlessedMommy 06-30-2008, 03:15 PM You know why? Because it reassures me that I'm pregnant, lol. Can anyone relate?? :D pasloma 06-30-2008, 03:25 PM sorry but I can't relate! [flagsurrender][flagsurrender][flagsurrender] Buaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! it was too bad with me... and even I am 7 months now... I still feel nausea many times.... breezykc2 06-30-2008, 03:32 PM Totally relate! With the baby we miscarried in our second trimester...I felt great.... With both babies I carried full term, I felt sicker than a dog every moment and after losing the second baby, I was soooo thankful for every sick feeling I had with my third! Helped the fear of loss! Skunkers 06-30-2008, 03:37 PM I can. this is my 9th pregnancy & with me it is alaways like this m/s=baby no m/s =no baby so, yes, I relate!! BlessedMommy 06-30-2008, 03:42 PM I can. this is my 9th pregnancy & with me it is alaways like this m/s=baby no m/s =no baby so, yes, I relate!! I'm so sorry for your losses. :( How many living children do you have? Skunkers 06-30-2008, 03:52 PM I have 6 children. I have had 2 losses, & there were times I had heavy clotting at time of period, so I have always wondered if they were losses too. I am very Blesssed, & thankful for the children I have. They are dear to me. ~Tara~ 06-30-2008, 05:25 PM I've not experienced a m/c but I can still relate. As much as I hate being sick...I am thankful for that initial bout of nausea to assure me 'all is well' (and yes I know that is not a 'rule', just a generalization) But then, after a few weeks, I would have been fine with it leaving LOL Though it never did :p JRBL 06-30-2008, 05:54 PM I hear ya! It *is* reassuring to get those first waves of nausea! I wasn't nauseated this time around until *later* in the pregnancy, and now I can't get rid of it! :) ChamomileFriend 06-30-2008, 06:11 PM Better m/s than an m/c! As much as I hated being sick - with my 2nd son (3rd pg) I was sick up until the very end - I much preferred it to the alternative. Just another way God shows us that our trials bring blessings. Donna B. 06-30-2008, 06:11 PM Ok...I will confess, you can add me to the list of crazy women who felt a quirky sense of reassurance for pregnancy induced nausea.... But really...Love is a strong emotion for nausea ;-) lol. But more power to ya! You go ahead and keep lovin' that nausea! JoyLynn 07-01-2008, 01:00 AM I'll go as far as 'some' degree of reassurance, and that's after four miscarriages, but I cannot for the life of me say I loved it, or even liked it. [whatblah] I was on i.v.'s for more than six months straight with each of mine. It was NO fun, but I was still super happy to be pregnant. [cheerful] But, as happy as I was, I realized that my incessant puking was all about 'my' body not liking pregnancy hormones, and I wished it did, like so many other woman's bodies do. Better to have hormones, though, than not. Mine did come from pills and syringes, but at least they were there, PTL! [claphigh] [lovesign] Joy [welcomewave] jengrant 07-01-2008, 08:30 AM I can relate after 3 miscarriages I am definitly embracing any and all pregnancy symptoms. |
