Has anybody gotten headaches while taking these? I just started taking them on Monday and since wednesday I have had a headache, it doesn't go away at night or with tylenol. Any ideas? Thanks :)

I used to take evening primrose and it never gave me headaches. :???: I would get rid of one and give it a couple of days and then go back to taking it and get rid of the other if the headache doesn't stop. Don't get rid of both of them or you won't know which caused the headache. If the headache persists then maybe neither are causing the headache. Or quit taking both and start one up at a time for a week before adding the other. I do not know what vitex is though I am afraid! :???:

I have no experience, but Leslie gave some great advice. Also I looked both of these up and vitex supposedly has few to no side effects documented (i couldn't find a list of ANY), while evening primrose has been known to cause headaches

I have taken Vitex, and sadly, some women have bad reactions to it. It's kind of like a "natural" clomid if you will. I would say it's probably more likely that it's the vitex that's giving you the headaches, or is causing your hormones to change enough to cause them. Like Leslie said, I would stop taking just the vitex to see if they go away. I have taken EPO, but only in late pg, and I never had headaches with them, even taking it vaginally.

Did your doc start you on Vitex, or can you get it from a drug store yourself? Just wondering if it's something I could/should start taking... hehe
