I have someone helping me with housework this week and she took the initiative to wash my cloth diapers. I just about fainted when I found out that she washed them with bleach. I explained that you should NEVER wash them with bleach. I checked the elastic on them and it seemed fine but I'm concerned. Can Fuzzi Bunz survive an accidental washing with bleach?

Oh man, that bites. But I'm quite sure they'll survive one standard washing with bleach ;)

I have purposely bleached my oldest ME diapers and they still work just dandy. Wouldn't make a habit of it, of course, as it shreds the fibers and all..but an accident isn't going to kill 'em.

I think you can rest easy now.

I asked Jerry if we could hire a maid a couple times the first month or two after Baby comes, but I'm reconsidering after talking to my mom. Her new husband has had a housekeeper come in once a week for years, and my mom can't stand it, because she has to pick up after her when she leaves. And I'd have to beg whomever we hire to use my chemical-free cleaners.

I think I'd rather live with a dirty house for a couple of months. Besides, I'm just too picky. I like to have everything done my way.

I'm sure one time won't kill them.

:hug

One time my sitter tried to be helpful and fold all my diapers....... I had to go back and re-do it all. She didn't stuff any of them!!
Willie had on just a FB and was totally soaked! She said it seemed too thin, but she wasn't sure what was wrong.
