savedbygrace 06-17-2008, 12:09 PM Well I was wondering how all of our pregnant mommies were doing? Morning sickness? Feeling Movement? Back Pains? Feeling better? Check in and let us all know how your pregnancy journey is going.
For me, I'm still here. Not really contracting as much. I think i will be pregnant for the rest of my life.... ugh. no not really. I'm just eager for this little guy to show his chubby face. :) But I'm feeling good.

pasloma 06-17-2008, 12:30 PM Hello here!
:D
I am still having sickness... I don't say "morning sickness" because ... I wish it was just in the morning LOL!
I am over the 6 months and still with all those symptoms... they are better though!
It hasn't been an easy morning today... I hope I feel better during the day!
:)
I am taking my "tums" too!

Proverbs31student 06-17-2008, 01:23 PM Good afternoon ladies,
I know that I don't post often, but I do read everyday. I've been very blessed throughout my pregnancy...I haven't had any morning sickness! The last few weeks have been really enjoyable. I'm now feeling those wonderful, little movements! I can't wait until I feel them regularly (and DH really can't wait to feel them). I'm finally showing enough for people to know that I'm pregnant. It's great! I've got a doctor's appointment on Friday. Hopefully, everything is still progressing nicely with Peanut. Now, if DH and I could only make some progress on an actual name for her.
Skunkers - what fun! Your little blessing could be a Christmas baby! Congratulations!
Oh, for the record, my EDD is October 14.

*raises hand* Due December 8th!
Things have been going well so far...been busy with lots of things so I haven't been posting much...but it's going okay.
Morning sickness has been gone for probably a month now...but NOTHING sounds good to eat. I've been having sooo many adversions this pregnancy it's stupid! I've been trying to eat well...but it's hard when even thinking about food makes my stomach turn (but it's not like morning sickness...it's kinda hard to explain).
I believe that I felt the first "twinges" of movement on Sunday. I'm trying hard to not read into it too much because it's still a tad early...but I'm pretty sure that I did! I'm excited to start feeling the baby more often.
Our "big" ultrasound is on July 18th! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is going! It's crazy to me!! I've been so busy sometimes it's hard to remember to try to take it easy...I've been beyond exhaused...and I'm waiting and waiting for it to go away...but I have a feeling that it won't...not until the kids are all grown up! :P
Maddy turns 2 on the 22nd...and I think she sort of understand what's going on...I'm excited to see her with a new sibling...I have a good feeling that it's going to be fun.
Overall things are going well...other than being super tired...I'm still working...probably will be for a while now...so...yeah...that's me! :)

Dec. 8th is my Grandmothers b-day:-D
Congrats on your pregnancy & I'm glad your m/s has gone away. You can have a Chritmas baby too if your doc's don't push for you to deliver sooner. they use to not like to let ya go farther than 42 weeks. now they push early. If you went 42 weeks that would put you @ Dec. 22nd :) my "average" seems to be 3 days past due date.........we will see!!!

Well, someone needs to let Josiah know that!!! I have a feeling I'll be passed due with this little one too. I asked my midwife about taking blue cohosh to induce labor, and she suggested against it. :???:
But I'm sure she has her reasons.
I'm glad to here that you ladies are doing well, besides the m/s and exaustion.
JOY: I remember feeling the same way. I was trying to eat healthy and watch how much I was gaining, but it just wasn't working to well for me. I think the only thing that helped was fruit. I ate lots and lots of fruit
And just for the record. I read that watermelon or pickles will actually help with nausea! So maybe you can try some of that in the morning.
Ashlee: how are you doing?
Nici: We haven't heard from you in a while!
Where are all the other mommies? I know we have more!
love2bmommy 06-17-2008, 11:49 PM I don't post very often, but I check in every couple of days to see how everyone is doing. I'm about 24 1/2 weeks now and I'm already pretty uncomfortable. The baby just seems to be everywhere...kicking me in the ribs, making it hard to breathe, head-butting my bladder. He's a very active little guy which I love!
I have another ultrasound in about 3 weeks to check on the placenta. In my 19-week ultrasound, it wasn't covering the cervix, but it was less than a centimeter away from it, so they want to make sure it moves up as my uterus stretches. I'm really hoping it does because I really do *NOT* want a c-section!
Anyway, that's about it!
Ashlee 06-18-2008, 07:54 AM I'm doing pretty good. No complaints. Baby's active.. kicking the snot out of my insides. I feel pretty big but not abnormal for 25 weeks. I tried to get my 4 year old to take some pictures of me to post but it didn't work out. She's been blessed with mommies terrible photography skills. My sil will be here tomorrow and Friday so maybe I'll have her snap a few shots of me.
I'm glad to hear about how everyone else is doing. I guess the race is still on Jen and Esther! Can't wait to hear some baby news!:)

I had the same thing, where the placenta was low. I had to get another u/s and it had moved up by that time. I'm sure you'll be fine! Glad to see you posting and doing well!
Ashlee: I can't wait to see your baby bump!
Last night I drank 2 oz. of castor oil with some dr. pepper. I took it at about 9 pm and at 12:30 am I started having some intense contractions. I could actually feel Josiah being squeezed into my pelvic area. I had a lot of preasure in my cervix area. I was having some back labor as well.... I was really hoping I wouldn't have back labor this time around, but I think I got a sneak preview of what my labor will feel like. Eventually things slowed down and I was able to go back to sleep. But I think those contractions really helped make some progress, maybe not a ton, but some. I'm having them every once in a while this morning, I might take more later to continue having contractions.
BlessedMommy 06-18-2008, 06:55 PM Barely pregnant compared to everyone else, but doing great so far! Not having significantly sore nipples while nursing, no morning sickness yet.
Skunkers 06-19-2008, 03:57 PM I just made some Ginger Peach tea (from The Republic of Tea)
I just boiled some water & added one tea bag. filled up a glass w/ ice & poured it in. It feels so good on my queasy tummy!!!!
I just wanted to share:)
jengrant 06-20-2008, 02:49 PM Blessedmommy, our due dates are very close. My EDD is February 21, so I am barely pregnant. I am having alot of hearburn this time around and just exhuasted! I don't remember being this tired with Grant, but I am 4 years older too.
cabingirl 06-20-2008, 03:22 PM I also don't post much but I do read often. I am about 23 weeks now. I've been feeling really great. (not 100% like normal but AWESOME compared to last preg.) I don't have much morning sickness at all. I just make sure to eat right away when I get up and then I feel fine all day. I've had plenty of energy and some days almost forget I'm pregnant. I'm now feeling the babe move more often, which is always fun.
We don't know what we're having (we did last time). I don't feel as much of a 'connection' with this one as I did with my dd when I was prego with her. I think it's partially b/c we knew what she was and called her by name from the time I was 20 weeks. We don't even really have names picked yet. Just a couple of ideas. I just don't feel like I think about this babe as much as I did when I was preg with dd. Maybe it's because I'm so busy with a toddler and it's summer and we're always busy b/c of that. I don't know. I just know I could not wait to have dd and constantly counted the days til I met her. With this one, I'm enjoying the preg and also the time I have with just me and dd... relishing in this 'easy' one-kid stage.
Don't get me wrong, I really am excited to meet this child. But I also see the blessing in carrying it 9 months. Last time I wished preg lasted 2 months! Maybe God is finally giving me patience! A virtue I so badly need!
