Hey ladies, Doing good. I'm having more BHC so I'm excited about that. I'm feeling some pelvic preasure! I think Josiah won't come until next week though. But only God knows!

I have a question. Usually if your cervix is soft and 60% effaced do you dialate quicker because it is thining out? or does effacement really not matter?

Anyhow, I'll be walking around quite a bit today. We're taking Abby to a Explore (science) museum. I bought some Crocs so my feet won't be killing me!

Sorry to break it to ya Esther, but labor can go slow with a good effacement. It's a good sign, great sign that your body is working in the right direction, but it really doesn't give you a good gauge on how long it will take. I actually walked around for probably 8 weeks at almost 90% effaced and 1-2cm. My BH were effacing me, but Em was a week late. I would rejoice in the fact that your body is working, but not count on a super fast labor. I hope you get a fast one, but only the Lord really knows!

Keep on updating us though!
Amber

p.s. sorry to be a downer!

Thanks Amber. You're not being a downer at all. My midwife even told me that it could be next week some time or the next 2 weeks. I'm just glad my body is doing something! :) I'm not worried about it though.
