Sinead is ok but I have still not established an effective routine although I have set my self a time limit. As she is going to be starting school in September I am going to give myself the 6 weeks holidays to get her sorted out and back on track.

She will be 5 this September and will be a big girl so need to get someting sorted asap or else she prob will become out of hand.

She is still coming to church with me although at the moment is saying that she does not want to. It is very frustrating but I know when she is ready she will tell me.

Gloria is doing well. We are doing the potty training thing right now. IT's going really well. :) She is also in the major attitudes too. Got to work on that.

I have the attitude problem with Sinead and I have been told to ignore the bad behaviour and reward the good.

I think its about not giving a reaction to the behaviour you do not want and only give a reaction to the good. (I am not sure if it works because I am bad at implementing things at home)

I am trying to potty train our son as well. I would like him to be OUT of diapers before winter & new baby comes. I just ordered him a new potty. I let him pick out the color. I am finding boys a little more challenging than the girls were. He does have an interest in being dry....that's a start.

Thats a good start, I know over here you can buy these balls that go in the toilet. They have faces on them and the child is meant to aim for them.

I have heard of those(or just using cheerios) thing is he is sooo sensitive (his privates) that he does not want it touched. even by him. it tickles him like crazy. so, stand, holding & pointing is not an option. He is going to have to outgrow this at some point(I hope)
Anyone w/ boys go through this? any advise? I just got a potty that has a high shield , so he will do the potty sitting down for now, but at some point he will have to adjust. I don't know what we are going to do at public toilets.?????

Do u have a partner some time the male influence works, let him see a man using a toilet. I know it does not seem like a good idea but it might just work.

I will see if DH is comfortable w/ that. It does make sense. Thank you.
