View Full Version : WRONG NAPPY COVERS

I could so scream! I ordered some nappy covers off Ebay that originated from Japan, believing them to be the actual kind that aid with dryness when using a CD - and guess what I got? The plain unlined kind that go over a nappy for decoration. I thought they were genuine nappy covers from the picture, as in the real lined kind!! RRRRRRRRRR The baby is two weeks off and currently I only have 2 Eenee Weenee covers which are the right kind and some plain plastic pilchers which every mother under the sun have told me are rather useless

Going to have to put in a big request to family to get the rest of the covers.

I have actually decided that the nappy covers were not a total waste of money (and I can't send them back, they were a private sale not an actual company) as they are big enough for DD to use as underpants.

She is actually excited about her new "knickers". So not a total loss, just frustrating.

That stinks! I hate to order something and get it and it's not what I thought it was.

OH man, that stinks :( But hey, like you said, at least you found a use for them. But I completely understand your frustration with not having covers.

The other alternative I have thought about is sewing the plastic pilchers into the liners to make them look more attractive.

if you decide to do that make sure you use polyester thread, as cotton will wick.

Okay, thanks for the tip!

My Enee Wenee covers arrived this week, they look like the perfect thing.
Have to find out where to buy these brand new.

I would just return them and use the money to buy what you really wanted.

That's right if they were from a department store they'd go back straight away!

I caught DD and DS running around the yard wearing 2 of them yesterday, they "took" them from the nappy stacker LOL.

They have been banned from going into the nursery unless it is just to "spin around" in my nursing chair LOL.
