Dear self,
Please, please, when making green smoothies with arugula greens, do not overestimate the amount of them that you need to put in your smoothie. They are VERY bitter and the taste is not easily covered up by other things. You will be using your Arugula dominant smoothies and trying to water them down for days on end in order to not waste all the precious fruit, soy yogurt, apple juice, and greens that you put in them. Your toddler will drink smoothies with arugula greens in them, but only if you don't put in half the box and only if you add apple juice, soy yogurt, etc. to take away the taste.

However, don't quit using Arugula greens. They are very high in calcium and other nutrients. Just chill out a little bit and don't think that you need to break a world record for the amount that you put in your smoothies.

That is all. Thank you.

Ruth, you crack me up! ROFL....a little over-zealous with the ingredients, eh? LOL

Not really healthy, but I made a fruit salad one time for dessert and got WAY over-zealous with the amount of lemon I put in...everyone took a bite and the pucker/sour face that takes over a person and makes them have chills...set in!! Oy...needless to say...NO one would eat it...EXCEPT my fiance!! Obviously still in the *dating to please you* phase that ends in marriage! LOL, he at the entire bowl!! There's no way he'd do that now after 5 years of marriage! Haha!
