Has anyone else experienced this; I am guessing it's hormone fluctuations but I am finding at night I become really irritable all of a sudden - it's almost like everything has built up during the day including pain and it all hits at once.
My public bone will begin aching, I feel completely bloated and then quite often I begin to experience a few painful contractions which disappear by bedtime. The pressure of the sensations is worse then I remember with the pre-term labour with the twins.
I am unsure of whether to mention the issue to my obstetrician on Wednesday, because I am pretty sure he will shrug it off (I don't really care as he's not even delivering the baby) -
Oh yeah. Not the contractions so much, but the sudden irritability from hormones and achiness. Like right now, for instance. I just want to kick everything!
I'm just so tired of being pregnant...and with Madison being so huge, I'm so much more achy this time around. Ugh. Two and a half more weeks, though!!!!
Hang in there.

I too, find that late afternoon, early evening (unfortunately coincides with hubby's post work arrival) is a "cranky" time. I feel hungry, but food just makes me feel bloated and more uncomfortable. BH contractions make moving around difficult and cumbersome. All I want to do is lay down and sleep, but when bedtime rolls around, do you think I can sleep? No sireee... grrr!
I have no reference point for the discomfort of contractions... so until I can't bear it any more, I will assume that they are bh and ignore them. I may end up in labour and have no idea.
I also find mornings very achy for pubic bone and hips... it seems to take awhile to get things mobile. I guess this is all par for the course. I am tired of getting that blank- "you have nothing to complain about girl- this is all part of pregnancy" look from my dr.

I didn't get the contractions, but I had the irratibility and the achiness in my pelvic area towards the end of my pg. I would let your doc know, just in case, maybe even let him put that note in your chart. Sending XOXO your way sweetie!

Yes, evenings are definately the worst time for me. I am usually a bit of a night owl - but I am finding that I just don't function too well in the evenings anymore. When I have discomfort it is definately worse towards the end of the day. And the hormones drive me crazy at night - if I am up too late I find that the hormones cause me to get either anxious/stressed or really annoyed at hubby (both mean that getting to sleep is more difficult). So, I am trying to get as much as possible done early in the day (seem to run out of steam at about 4pm) and get to bed a little earlier than usual.

oh honey, since I hit about thirty weeks or so, I don't do the following: mornings, mid-days, or evenings. The only thing I DO do, are nights. and then I sleep, LOL.
Sorry, have to keep a humor about it. seriously, though, when your round ligaments stretch, it can cause terrible pain in your pelvis, pelvic floor, hips, and even rectum, it's probably that, and baby laying where he/she is most comfy, is notably going to be most UN-comfy for mom.
will keep you, and all the other expecting mommies in my prayers concerning this, as I've found it very common
Yeah - it feels like my pubic bone is cracking from the underside upwards rather than up down (does that make sense?)
Last night I could not find a position where I could actually breathe and then slept in such a crumpled position I woke up with a head/neckache boo hoo.
Oh, then DS woke up vomiting, but DD prayed for him and he recovered very quickly and began asking for food (like 4 bits of toast, biscuits, drinks) AMAZING.
