So far, this has been similar and different to last time.

Different in that I need to eat a little something about every hour or I feel a little icky...not sick but blah. Last time I was fine with fairly normal eating routines.

Similar in that so far the only problem I am having is brushing my teeth. I am fine until I get to the insde upper double teeth...then I just gag and my stomach tightens. It is awful. Last time it was about 3 or 4 months worth and those were the only times I got sick. So far, I haven't done that.

Different in that evening is hard for me. Just generally bleh...no matter what I do. Been bailing early some nights and letting Matthew and Daddy bond with each other.

The same thing happened with me when I was pregnant with my first. Nearly every time I brushed my teeth. Weirdest thing ever.

I was so relieved when I never had one bout of morning sickness with my second baby.

I was totally different in my pregnancies. With dear son I felt GREAT and walked two miles everyday until my seventh month when I started cramping some. I craved jalapeno peppers with him. With dear daughter I was nauseous if I didn't eat lots of small meals throughtout the day. I lived on Rolaids and had so much gas I could have sent a spaceship to the moon  -- I was one gassy chick! She laid right on my pubic bone the last several months and it hurt to walk. I craved chicken livers with her. Stephanie :D

I'm 31 weeks along, and had about 10 weeks of all-day sickness during which time I had to eat constantly or throw up (sometimes I threw up anyway). Four more weeks I had evening sickness (still got bloated quickly the rest of the day) and at some point I was eating cookies, baby food (usually bananas) and fruit juice for supper because nothing else would stay down (don't anybody tell Dr. Brewer  ).

I had several weeks of horrible bloating the 2nd tri, but now I'm finally able to eat meat, high fiber vegetables, and nuts--DAILY, rather than sporadically--again. Still have to take it slow, but I'm enjoying eating healthy again. This morning I had my first apple since April! It was the greatest! (I won't tell you what happened to the previous 2 apples I tried to eat  :( )

Everything was the same for the most part with both pregnancies. The only differences this time around were that I didn't have any distinct cravings like I did with my first. I'm also soooo much more tired with this one. The one similarity that stands out is that the food aversions were identical! Both times, meat made me want to throw up in the first trimester!
