Currently, I'm afraid to leave the house with cloth on my toddler because she FLOODS and I mean, floods her diapers. She consistently soaks through her diapers and onto her clothes if I cloth diaper her these days. So to preserve my sanity while out and about I pack Huggies Overnites. However, that does get expensive! And I want to use my Fuzzi Bunz and other dipes still. Any recommendations on a good daytime soaker/doubler/whatever for cloth dipes that holds a lot but doesn't add too much bulk?
I have the same problem! Then we need a change of clothes, too. I am going to try to strip my fuzzi bunz...good luck!

Have you tried a hemp insert? I have some they are nice, thick and big. they are a bit more on the pricey side, but they are great and made by a local to me SAHM. They work great for me with a microfleece or even in with a infant prefold in my fuzzy bunz. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6148644
This is the link, it looks like she only has the thiner ones in stock right now. These are her royal blue edges, I haver her teal which I think is 5 layers thick. I also get the toddler size instead of the infant. She does do custom orders though.

I bought some bamboo and hemp fleece inserts from 'Rach'(c'moms member) a while back. I liked both, but especially the bamboo. Her site is honeychunks.com . I thought they were reasonable and solved my f/b leakage problem.
Ditto the hemp inserts. That made a world of difference for me.

Sorry Ruth no advice on the diaper situation, but I just wanted to say that soakers make excellent potty trainers! The more they go the better. Not for Hannah now, just when the time comes. (again not pushing anything here, just offering past experience with my soakers)
