My contractions are growing more painful... but are NOT growing closer together or anything like that, I can't time them... I'm not "worried" about preterm labor here... but the pain is very frustrating... I could really use some strength and peace to get through these last few weeks... so, when/if you gals think about me, would you pray for me, please? I sure would appreciate it... The pelvic floor/pelvic pressure is growing more intense as well. Ugh...... TIA!!!! ::hugs:: I know, not far to go now!!! She just needs to hang on for at the VERY least two to three more weeks... that's all!!!

Drink lots of water girly. Lie down on your left side, get your feet up. See if that helps anything.
Do those exercises I mentioned too...not during contrax, mind you :giggle:

Praying. *hugs*

BTDT, not fun. Will be praying that you can get some rest and relief from the pain. I know you're a veteran mommy, but do be careful. I've had pre-term issues each time and even when things aren't timable they may be causing cervical changes. Are you headed in for a check-up soon?

Yes, I have a check up next week... but I'm seeing my favorite midwives and they won't do a cerv check unless I specifically ask or unless they really feel that my labor is producing results (I love this policy of theirs by the way). I've been through this with EACH pregnancy, except it's usually from 30 weeks on and I usually make a trip to L&D over it just to get fluids and a pat on the head and them saying, "Your contractions aren't doing anything, you'll just have to deal with them." The term Irritable Uterus is coming to mind... hhmm. Anyway. I am soooo not worried... if it IS doing anything, I doubt it's much... I'm typically dilated to about 3 cm at 8 months and then wind up having to get pitocin when I'm actually in labor later. ::Rolls eyes:: So... again... so not worried here... just SUPER annoyed with them, it's trying my patience. I certainly appreciate the prayers and your thoughts!

Thanks gals for your prayers... my contractions eased a little bit last night, and spread to about one an hour or one every other hour... I haven't had any yet this morning but they typically start in the afternoon. I'm almost finished... I just have to grit my teeth here. Thanks again gals!!

Aww sorry Jen, will be praying! Whether it be #1 or #10 or somewhere in-between a mom still worries sometimes and needs love and encouragement, the last few weeks are draining.

Soon you will be snuggling your new baby and these hard last few weeks will all be worth it.

Hugs and prayers
