Okay, some of the ladies in the church are throwing me a shower for Hannah and want to know what I need for her. They told me to make up a list. So here it is. Can anyone add any helpful ideas of anything else I should put on there?

Baby Wish List

1. Front pack carrier
2. Backpack carrier
3. Big flannel receiving blankets for swaddling
4. Baby bathtub & bath towels (thicker ones preferably)
5. 18 Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers--size large

(These are about the easiest to use cloth diaper and easy to clean! They're soft and absorbent, don't require pins, and prevent diaper rash much better than old-fashioned diapers, as well as saving money. We're using size smalls right now on her and love them! We already have enough size mediums, so that's why I put down size large so that we have some when she graduates to that size. Generally, you can only find these on the internet. They can be bought new or you can also get them at a discount at the seconds factory)

6. Stroller
7. Clothing in larger sizes (they outgrow 0-3 month clothes fast!)
8. Washable cloth nursing pads (I can go through disposables like nothing flat, so washable ones really help save money)
9. Nursing tops and clothes (I found out after pregnancy, that I had virtually nothing to wear. Not that I didn't fit my pre-pregnancy clothes but that they were terrible for nursing!) Also nursing bras in size 36E. (Can find at Motherhood)
10. Baby thermometer
11. Baby blankets are always helpful
12. Crib sheet in a solid color to fit a Graco Pack 'n Play (If they make such a thing)
13. Gowns and sleepers (gowns that snap down the front are the best, because you don't have to pull them over the baby's head. Any piece of clothing that goes on easily is great)
14. Onesies
15. Nicer outfits for church
16. Diaper bag (my current one is not in very good condition)
17. Baby wipes
18. Story time/devotional cassette tapes or CD's
19. My Bible Friend cassette tapes or CD's
20. Baby toys and rattles, teething rings, etc. for when she's old enough to use them
21. Burp cloths

Looks like a good list to me. They do make fitted playpen sheets (in Canada anyway) a company called Kushies (I think that's the spelling) I have found them in Toys R Us (Babies R Us?) (Wal-mart too but I don't shop there anymore). They call them fitted playpen sheets here.

How about feeding stuff for when she is old enough? Spoons, forks, bowls, cups, etc.
Bigger stuff maybe? Bouncy chair, exersaucer, swing, jolly jumper, activity mats/sets (they can kick things, grab for stuff while they are lying on the floor). For me, the swing and the bouncy chair and great. And my boys loved their jolly jumper.

Great ideas Jaylene! The reason why I didn't put some of them down is because some people already found them for me. As for eating utensils, is it necessary to have special baby ones? If so, I'll put that down.

I am wishing for a link-a-doo mat. It would be great for tummy time, and you can attach the toys to it so they don't go flying across the room! I really like the feature.

Thanks for the ideas, ladies! I added the eating utensils and the activity mat to my list.

It's nice to have small forks and spoons to fit baby's mouth, especially at first. the other stuff is just cute. I know I know, but it is cute! that and if you don't want a plate to break when it goes flying across the room (it'll happen once anyway!) then non-breakable is nice
