Well I saw my midwife today. She was very nice and came to our house :shock: She took my blood pressure and checked baby and listened to babys heartbeat. She has booked me in to see the Specialist for the US to check amniotic fluid levels and check that baby is ok still. My appointment is on Wednesday at 5.15pm. Which is Tuesday and around 10.15pm US time... depending on where you are. So I should have a date for induction (if I don't go into labour before that) by then.
Hopefully it will be on Friday night. :wink:

Hey thanks everyone. I don't know why but I missed the other posts... :? Anyway, I'm still here... no sign of Sophie yet.
We were going to go out today and do something fun to take my mind off this but it decided to rain... so unless it fines up we are stuck here all day :roll: Oh well....

I'm still here LOL Just thought I'd let you know.
I had some low backpain last night but I'm fine now...

Hey I had some hurty contractions last night that went on for an hour and were 5 min apart and I was sitting on the couch relaxing so they definately weren't brought on by activity etc. That's pretty normal though.

I'll find out tomorrow what my induction date is. I tell ya they better do it on Friday because I'm starting to get really shirty with Paul about keeping things clean around the house [rofl] and just honestly sick of being pregnant. I think it is really unfair to make me go to 42 weeks. But then why should they care? They aren't carrying the baby. :cry:

Maybe they will induce you soon Renee so you won't kill Paul [rotfl] !Praying for a safe delivery for you. Stephanie :D

Have you tried all those old wive's tales that supposedly make you go into labor? Don't get mad for my asking......I have a sneaking suspicion you've done that 2+ weeks ago. :lol: Renee, I hope that baby of yours will hurry it up and come on out to meet everyone. And yes, I do think it's very unfair they are making you go to 42 weeks. Grrrrrrr.... I'd be demanding an induction too at this point. Hang in there, you can't be pregnant forever. And surely not much longer!

I tried eating a ton of black licorice, drinking a lot of red raspberry leaf tea, walking, hard cleaning, sex ....
I haven't tried that black & blue cohosh or castor oil.
I think she must be very cosy in there LOL
