Took Delaney to her 2mo check up today and it went great! (Except for the 3 shots she got in her little leg :( ) But-last month she was 7 lbs 8 oz and today she weighed in at 9 lbs 4 oz!!!!!!! and she is 23 1/2 inches long! The dr was very pleased with her progress. God must have known what I needed to hear. I have been so worried about her getting enough breastmilk and it seems that she is. I went back to work on Tuesday and that just added to my anxiety of how she is doing. But I'm taking my breastpump to work and pumping for her so she can still have it while I'm gone and I can continue to breastfeed when I'm here!!!

That's wonderful! How did YOU do when she got her shots?
I love seeing DS's progress, but I hated seeing him get shots at his 2 mo check up. I was crying along with him! :(
Now he's due for his 4 mo check up and I'm dreading seeing him poked again! Those check ups are so bitter-sweet.

I cried right along with her :( I went from being elated about how much she'd grown to so unbelievably sad and helpless because I could not take that hurt away. I dread taking her in June for her 4 mo to have her go through all that again. :(
