We have a first with little Shaelyn!

Today she and I tried out our ring sling for the first time...I LOVE it!! A mommy-friend from church made it and gave it to us as a gift. It's white with black music notes on it. I was very excited when she gave it to me about a month ago and didn't anticipate it being sooo easy to use! WOW!!

I read through directions on-line for tummy-to-tummy position and gave it a whirl. I stuck her in and snugged it up...she looked up at me right away with a very happy satisfied look on her face. I nearly melted! I love, Love, LOVE it!

Now to take a pic and figure out how to use it when BF'ing...any help?

I use a ring sling as well, and LOVE mine too! I love that it is great for any age...newborn (tummy to tummy), older baby (snuggled up to your shoulder, in the crook of your arm, on your hip) or even a toddler (piggy back style). Lots for you to look forward to!

As for bf'ing....I never did figure that out. If you find a link or something, let me know. I just always took baby out of the sling and kept the sling on to use as a cover up.

My ring sling was a good start for me, but have since discovered it's not really my 'thing'...for me, personally. ;)

I never did nurse in mine either. Just nothing seemed right about it. I dunno. But then, it was just so stinkin' easy for me to nurse anytime/anywhere, I guess it was like the sling interfered with that ease and convenience. *shrug*

I know! I had a rs for the first time with ds and I love it! I haven't used it alot lately cause I've not needed to but, I'm acking to try him in the back-pak type hold. Anyhoo, congrats on your new love- the ring sling and your new sweety! -ren
