So my avg luteal phase length has been 11 or 12 days, which as far as I know is a good length, but I've heard vit B can lengthen the phase... is it worth it? I was thinking of taking B6 specifically for something else (can't remember what right now - it's after midnight here...) so I wondered if it could do double duty for me and whether it's worth considering for that reason.
Any thought?

The luteal to be "correct" should be 10 to 14 days long...any shorter and it is not right...and it "should" happen for a healthy time in 14 days as well...since you are nicely in the middle of that window I wouldn't worry about it too much! However, B6 and the other vitamins are always a good addition for many purposes in the correct doses! Vitamin B has many healing properties.

I took Vitamin B6 to lengthen my luteal phase....it went from 9 to 14 days all in one month! But in your case, since yours is already a good length, I personally wouldn't recommend taking it. It will make your luteal phase longer even though it's already a good length, so you won't be able to predict when AF is due (and when you can POAS) and if you don't succeed this month, it will be even longer until you can try next month. Just my two cents....it's not going to hurt anything if you decide to, but I would really only take it if your luteal phase is too short.

Thanks for the input, ladies! I don't think I'll be starting on B6 soon - it was more just a passing thought as I read that other thread, so I thought I'd ask!
