Worried :(

Last night I drank a bit of boxed lychee juice which tasted perfectly normal but I happened to glance down at it to find it expired on the 11/05! ( I only got it on Wednesday!) Everyone please pray the baby is okay, I am seeing my Obstetrician next week and I have felt flutters this morning and have not been sick so maybe I am being paranoid but in my twin pregnancy I was in danger of loosing Paris as she was barely growing and it makes me more worried than probably I should be incase I run into that kind of situation again...

Yikes. :shock: I hope everything will be ok. Are you sure the expiry date is 11/05 and it's not the date it was made? Sometimes they put the date that it was made not the best before date.
Juices are normally fine even after their best before date. If they are the ones that are boxed and don't have to be refrigerated until they are opened. My FIL drinks expired juices all the time. I won't, but I am sure they are ok.

If you are feeling fine and baby is still active then everything sounds like it will be ok. :hugs:

P.S. If it really is best before 11/05 take it back to the supermarket and make a formal complaint. Get them to refund your money or replace it and whatever else they will do for you. There is no excuse for something that is expired to be on the shelf still.

The nurse at my obstetrician said she can squeeze me in as I am quite concerned as my back is hurting a bit... please pray for me, I am really upset and my husband can;t leave work so my mother is coming down to help me and I have been in tears.

Well I waited for about an hour to see my obstetrician but got to see him. He was shocked that Coles would stock a juice that out of date but he said that he felt I had a bug and not actually an effect from the lychee drink.
It was the used by date BTW. I have chucked them out and I am put off lychee drink now...

He gave me an ultrasound and the baby as moving around happily and he said not to worry the heart was going nicely, it was moving and growing well. He said the pains was probably from the effects of the bug and not actually anything else.

I have to book my 3D ultrasound in 4 weeks (for my anatomy scan), that will be exciting as I've never had a 3D ultrasound before.

Sooo glad everything is okay. :)

I have just gone 15 weeks, so when I book in a month I will well be able to see what sex the baby is.

My Obstetrician offered me to have the 3D scan, I am not sure if all Doctors offer that to women or not. My SIL had them for her twins but this is my first experience with them.

I am hoping my husband can get the day off work to come and see but he's just started a new job and has to show himself diligent in order to get promoted quickly so he'll have to contend with photos and maybe a video.

I am better now, thanks too. I have been able to eat and I am not sick at all. HOWEVER you should all see what a tip my house is, I am going to have to spend the day fixing it up. It's disgusting.
