View Full Version : Our daughter has arrived!
BlessedMommy 08-21-2006, 06:26 PM Hannah was born at 12:20 PM at home today with a midwife attending after 17 hours of active first stage labor and 2 hours of pushing.
It was a beautiful, wonderful experience. Tim and I are thrilled with our new daughter. She is beautiful, healthy, and weighed in at a robust 8 pounds, 13 ounces. Thanks for all your prayers, everyone!

Yeah, I thought that I would be having a girl too, even though we never did an ultrasound! Sure enough... I posted our birth story on a separate pregnancy thread, if you'd like to read it. I've been staying up late anyway, trying to get Hannah to settle down.
Her middle name is Ruth.
