I am wondering if anyone out there knows of any Christian videos that are good for preschoolers that are short. (ie. 10-20 mins max) Sometimes I want to put on a show for ds, but don't want something to long. Lately I have been letting him watch Franklin, but I would like him to watch something with Christian values/lessons. We have Veggie Tales , but sometimes they are just too long. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If you want to start with letters and phonics....ages 18 months and up...LEAP FROG letter factory DVD is Amazingly awesome!! Within a week of watching the 30 minute DVD each day, my 24 month old knew his letters and their sounds! Love them!
Not really Christian, but wholesome and educational and cute!

A few years ago I found Jay Jay the jet plane videos at a christian bookstore - they had been written with help? from Focus on the Family so had a Biblical lesson woven into the stories. I think there are like 3 short stories on one video so could always just watch one story instead of the whole video.

I love the "Beginner Bible" series. They are simple, colorful, and always kept my girls interest.

Veggie Tales does have some that have several shorter stories. Max Lucado's Hermie and Friends also have 2 stories that aren't as long. Those are the 2 christian ones that we have.

Thanks ladies, for your suggestions.

Breezy...I have actually started thinking about the leap frog videos. Glad to hear they are as good as I hoped!

Janell...I have heard of Jay Jay, but I don't like buying something sight unseen, or that someone hasn't recommended. Thanks for sharing.

momofweewerfs....oooh! What a good idea! Both my kids LOVE to sing!

kymommy....I didn't know beginner bible had videos. I"ll look into it.

Jen....I think the shorter veggietales are the older ones, aren't they? We don't have many of those, but I will look.

Any more suggestions are welcome! :D

Yes! Yes! Go find The Donut Man - they are wonderful!!!

http://donutman.com

His quote is "Life without God's love is like a donut ~ there's a hole in the middle of your heart!"

I watched these when I was younger and living at home. They have catchy songs, they are teaching Bible stories and Biblical truths and they are lots of fun!! You may have to order them online because they are kinda on the older side. But still very very good!!

Our kids listened to Psalty (tapes only), but our favorite singing songbook is now on dvd :-D:

Adventures in Odyssey is also good, but may be more for older kids.
