My daughter ate dandelion greens today. Yes, that's correct, dandelion greens. Those things that are so bitter and strong tasting but are so high in calcium, potassium, etc.!
No, she didn't pick them up and put them in her mouth. I made a blended smoothie with Very Vanilla soymilk, plain soy yogurt, blueberries, and apple juice concentrate. Couldn't hardly taste the greens at all! She sucked down some of it! Woohoo! So far I've also fed her kale and spinach that way, too. I love adding greens to my smoothies! We hardly ever have smoothies without greens anymore, because I figure if we can't see them or taste them anyway, we might as well get the extra nutrition from them, lol.
