I like Gwen personally, so there's my vote. :)

I voted for Carissa, but just had to say that I think all three of those names are beautiful! I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them. I also like "Gwen", just not quite as much. I am probably biased because my second dd is a Cassie and Carissa reminded me of that.

I like Shaelyn! It's pretty and different.

It's so hard choosing a name!!

Good Luck!

I have friends who have a "Gwennie"- that's a cute name.

I have to vote for Shaelyn- so different and pretty!

All of them are pretty but I'd vote for Shaelyn Elizabeth. Gwendolyn and Carissa seem to have too many sylables to flow smoothly with Elizabeth. : )

I like Gwen and think it flows the best with Elizabeth.

Well, I've been unable to find the meaning of Shaelyn. I keep finding that it's a combo of Shay and Lynn. It's a fairly rare name - maybe I should make up a meaning!?!?! :-) Help anyone?? (Shayna means beautiful...)

Gwendelyn: means white ring or white bow

Carissa: means grace or full of grace. I really like this meaning - God has been teaching me a lot about grace recently.

I voted for Carissa :) We have freinds who had a dd recently and they named her Shayla, which I think is a variation of Sheila. I will have to sk her what it means.

I picked Gwen. To me it was the one that flows best with Elizabeth.:-D

This is what I found this morning...

The Irish name Sheila means - "girl" or "young woman," it is derived from the Latin Cecilia, the patron saint of music.

The Hebrew name Shayna means - beautiful

Shae-lyn is a very rare female first name and a very rare surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).

The girl's name Shayla \sha(y)-la\ is pronounced SHAY-lah. It is of Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "from the fairy palace". A variant of Sheila (Irish, Gaelic) "blind". Also possibly a short form of Micheala, from Michael (Hebrew) "who is like the Lord?" or a rhyming name based on Kayla.

The boy's and girl's name Shea \shea\ is pronounced shay. It is of Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "admirable". Also possibly (Irish, Gaelic) "from the fairy fort".

Oh that is interesting, thanks for sharing that! You know I still really like Carissa but the more I think about Shaelynn ( hope I spelt it correctly) I am really liking it too! Whichever one of the 3 you choose will be just perfect for your little one :)

I voted for Shaelyn because it flows off the tongue better with Elizabeth. All of them are pretty names, though!
