And so it begins. Yesterday I woke up feeling really nauseous. I knew I needed to eat *something* or it wouldn't go away, but nothing appealed. Everything mad me gag. So what did I end up doing??? Turning on the oven and cooking a small, frozen pizza. For breakfast. Because that was the only thing that was remotely appetizing. Weird.

Anyone else done anything like that?

Its just so strange how each pregnancy is so different. I don't remember it being quite like this with the other two. With the other two, the ickies were very trigger oriented. So once I figured out the triggers and avoided them, not such a big deal. (Well, if you consider not being able to brush my teeth without gagging until I had been up for at least 2 hours not a big deal. LOL) Anyway, with this one, it so far it seems all over the place. *shrug* whatever. If I have to eat pizza for breakfast, then I guess it could be worse!

Thanks for the sympathy and encouragement ladies! You're the best![lovesmile]

oh..well..um...this being your 3rd....you're in for ALL KINDS of 'different' My midwife always said you never know what the third one's gonna do. And this starts in pregnancy LOL I don't know what it is..but it seems it's not uncommon at all for those third ones to be completely different.

I can attest to that. That pg was MUCH different. That birth was different, even faster than the one before. My bond with him was different from the start (not so strong). He's a completely different kid even now at 6. And our relationship is still quite different than with the others.

Maybe you didn't want to hear all that right now LOL Sorry

But that doesn't mean it's all bad....didn't mean for it to sound like that. Honest! Just different. All the way around. hehe

Ok, I'll shut up now....after bringing you more pizza :p

hmmm.....interesting. Well, different is definitely how I would describe things so far. Only time will tell.

As for the pizza, I about to put one in for dinner tonight! You want one too?? lol

yeah, 3rd are SOOOOOO different. I still had all the "you know kana's pregnant when....." things, but had way more weird stuff with him. But unlike Tara, I'm closer to my third. But I seriously think a lot of that has to do with him being sick and having surgery and all that.

but hey, if you eat pizza for the next 237 days (thanks, Kim's ticker, LOL) whatever, LOL. I could only eat dorritos and drink dr. pepper with Gabe. Everyone thinks I was using pregnancy as an excuse, but that's seriously ALL I could tolerate for 9 months. I managed to eat other stuff, but gosh I gagged and grunted the whole time, LOL

doritos and dr. pepper....teehee. We've gotta do what we've gotta do, right? (And I just finished my pizza...yum!)

Haahaa, I have to agree, although this is technically my 5th pg, I hope it's my third successful one! It's waaaaay different that the others so far too. I don't believe in signs, but guess it's a good one! haahaaa

For me it's garlic! I can't stand even the thought of the smell of garlic. I LOVE it, but since I got pg again....it's nauseating! I have also been craving pepper! Never had that before!

Blessings,
Amber

I am 7 weeks along and I constantly want to eat. From Pop Tarts to Beef Jerky, I feel like by the end of the pregnancy, I am going to be enormously large. Its like I dont have control and its scaring me. [imnewheresign]

Hi 1stMom! Don't be too scared. Its normal for your appetite to increase in the early months of pregnancy. Actually you may want to take advantage of it before morning sickness anf food aversions kick in! Of course you want to be eating a healthy balanced diet.. stay away from the junk food, and if you do gain some extra pounds don't fret you'll be able to lose it by running around taking care of a new baby.

Its great to have another new mommy here on C'moms! Once again...[welcomesign]

Yeah, what she said ^
Take advantage of that appetite increase while you can!!! Of course, we'll all be hoping you are able to avoid the ickies, but, just in case... ;)
You're growing a BABY in there! That takes work and food and nutrients. Don't sweat it *hugs*
